From Foul Odor to Arrest: Shocking Clues That Led to D4vd in Teen Murder Case

A disturbing discovery at an impound lot in September when workers noticed a foul smell coming from a towed Tesla ultimately led to the arrest of D4vd seven months later.
Inside the vehicle, investigators found the decomposed and dismembered body of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been reported missing months earlier. The car was traced back to the 21-year-old singer, whose real name is David Burke.
After months of investigation, including gathering evidence and tracking his movements, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrested Burke at a Hollywood Hills home without incident. He is currently being held without bail as prosecutors review the case.
Authorities say the investigation required meticulous work to establish probable cause, while Burke’s legal team maintains his innocence and denies any involvement in the teen’s death.
