A major law enforcement operation across Southern California has led to the arrest of 341 suspects and the rescue of 40 children during a large-scale crackdown on internet crimes against minors. The operation, known as “Operation Firewall,” targeted individuals accused of using online platforms to exploit and abuse children. Led by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, the investigation uncovered disturbing online networks involved in child exploitation, abuse material, and violent extremist groups targeting vulnerable minors. Authorities say the operation not only identified suspects but also helped rescue children from dangerous situations. Officials also warned about the growing threat of online extremist communities that manipulate young people into harmful and abusive activities through the internet. The case has sparked renewed concern over child safety online and the increasing risks hidden within digital platforms.
