Two Oil Tankers Carrying Iraqi Fuel Set on Fire After Unidentified Attack

Two foreign oil tankers carrying Iraqi fuel oil were reportedly attacked inside Iraqi territorial waters, triggering massive fires on both vessels.
According to an Iraqi port official speaking to Reuters, the attack was carried out by unidentified forces, leaving the two tankers heavily damaged and engulfed in flames. Emergency teams quickly responded to the incident and successfully evacuated 25 crew members from the ships.
Although the crew members were rescued safely, the fires continued to burn on both vessels as authorities worked to contain the situation.
Officials are currently investigating the incident to determine who was responsible for the attack and what caused the fires. The event has raised concerns about maritime security and the safety of oil transportation in the region.
