The United States has presented Iran with a 15-point peace plan and cease-fire proposal aimed at ending escalating tensions in the Middle East. According to former President Donald Trump, Iran has already agreed to a key condition: never developing nuclear weapons.
The proposal, reportedly delivered through Pakistan, includes demands such as dismantling Iran’s nuclear program, halting uranium enrichment, granting full access to international inspectors, limiting missile capabilities, ending support for regional proxy groups, and keeping the Strait of Hormuz open.
In exchange, Iran would receive sanctions relief, support for a civilian nuclear program, and removal of automatic sanction penalties if it complies.
Negotiators are pushing for a one-month cease-fire to finalize the agreement, though military operations by the U.S. are ongoing until objectives are met. Several countries, including Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, are involved in facilitating the talks.
