'Liver King' Brian Johnson seen in handcuffs after Joe Rogan threats

Fitness influencer Brian Johnson, known online as the "Liver King," was arrested after posting threats to podcaster Joe Rogan on social media.

Influencer “King Gan” was arrested in Texas after posting a series of bizarre videos on social media. In them, he challenged Joe Rogan to a fight when he visited the popular podcast host’s hometown.

Brian Johnson (47 years old), known on social media as “Liver King”, faces charges of making terroristic threats and was taken to Travis County Jail (Texas, USA) at 8:30 p.m. on June 24, according to the New York Post.

A source from KXAN television station said Johnson was arrested in the city where Joe Rogan lives. In the video posted before his arrest, the influencer was seen wearing a burgundy hoodie and an old uniform, handcuffed and taken into a police car in front of a hotel. His wife, Bozena Johnson, stood by and watched.

Before his arrest, several videos showed Johnson pacing nervously in his living room, repeatedly saying “arrested,” “going to jail,” and “fighting Joe Rogan.” He tried to bring a folding knife but was stopped by his assistant.

Another video shows the “Liver King” sitting at a coffee shop, continuing to challenge Rogan, next to a box with the logo “The Joe Rogan Experience” printed on it.

Johnson declared that if he was arrested, he would bring the box to Rogan’s comedy club in Austin.

Brian Johnson attracted attention for his diet of raw liver, animal testicles, raw chicken eggs, and training like an ancient warrior. He commented that his body was “like a Greek god” thanks to his extreme lifestyle and use of functional foods.

However, leaked emails later showed that Johnson spent more than $ 11,000 a month on steroids to maintain his figure. The influencer later admitted to using testosterone and growth hormone.

Although he has never appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, the “Liver King” has been repeatedly criticized by Rogan for his phony lifestyle and drug use. Netflix also produced the documentary Untold: The Liver King, which chronicles Johnson’s journey to building a social media and supplement empire.

It is unclear whether challenging Rogan directly led to Johnson’s arrest, but a series of alleged public disturbances and threats led to the police charges.
